  • โ€ข6-8 ripe june plums (golden yellow)
  • โ€ข4 cups water
  • โ€ขยฝ cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • โ€ขJuice of 1 lime
  • โ€ขPinch of salt
  • โ€ขIce for serving

๐Ÿ“ Instructions

  1. 1Wash june plums and remove any blemishes.
  2. 2Boil june plums in 2 cups of water for 10-15 minutes until very soft.
  3. 3Let cool slightly, then remove the spiny seeds by pressing through a strainer.
  4. 4Add the strained pulp to a blender with remaining 2 cups water.
  5. 5Add sugar, lime juice, and salt. Blend until smooth.
  6. 6Strain again for a smoother consistency if desired.
  7. 7Chill and serve over ice. Stir before serving as pulp settles.
